Breaking: Nation Furious Over Giving Government Less Of Their Money

U.S.—The nation was in an absolute uproar as the GOP tax bill passed Congress Wednesday and made its way to President Trump’s desk, with millions of irate citizens expressing their total fury over the fact that the federal government will now be taking less of their money week in and week out.

Hordes of protesters gathered in the nation’s capital to decry the decrease of government taxation of their incomes, sources confirmed.

“America is dead,” one weeping woman said as she found out she would be giving the government $2,000 less under the new tax plan. “If ever there were a time for Americans to rise up and revolt against government oppression, this is it.”

“George Washington died for our right to give large portions of our paychecks to the federal government, and today Republicans are dancing on his grave,” she added before screaming wildly at the sky in hysterics.

At publishing time, relieved citizens discovered that the new tax rates are merely minimums, and they are free to pay as high a rate as they wish.

What about the deficit Republicans were complaining about when Obama was president?

 

Problem is, in states like Illinois the owners of the companies that are hiring these illegal immigrants are illegal as well. You see here in Illinois, illegal immigrants can start and run a business just like you or me. States like Illinois are not interested in enforcing the current immigration laws on the books.

This is why the country needs a strong president like Donald Trump to enforce our immigration laws and protect our borders and well as this country's social services, health care and education system. All of which are being overburden by illegal immigration, fraud and waste.

People like Obama did little more than make all the problems I mentioned worse. Obama encouraged illegal immigration, turned the US health care and insurance industry into a corporate free for all with no price control while mandating all must pay what they say, unless you get a government welfare free pass paid for by the hard working middle class.

The fact is Distant Lover, your beloved Democrat party has turned it's back on the middle class and the country.

 

What about it? You leftist didn't have a problem with it when Obama was President... So why make an issue of it now?

Just like how sexual harassment wasn't a big thing when Bill Clinton was in office, Democrats are so twofaced...

A so called "virtual wall" can easily be "torn down" by a future Obama-like "open borders" POTUS. But it's not quite so easy for such a future POTUS to be able to do that when it's a real wall.

After Reagan, Bush Sr. had to raise taxes because trickle down does not work. Remember, "read my lips."

When Bush Jr. cut taxes the economy tanked.

Since the federal government will take in less revenue where will the funding come from for the wall, defense, infrastructure, etc?

Republicans will keep raising the deficits until this country is bankrupt.

 

Republican leaders have had two opportunities to learn that cutting taxes for the rich does not help anyone who is not rich. Those tax cuts increase yearly deficits.

The voters have learned. I would like for the Republican Party to go the way of the Federalists and the Whigs. The United States needs a conservative party that is inspired by the philosophy of Edmund Burke, not Ayn Rand.

 

I doubt the Republican bill will effect me directly. It will explode the deficit. Republican efforts to cut domestic spending will run into the same effective resistance those efforts ran into during the administrations of Reagan and Bush II. Much of this resistance will come from Republican voters.

 

So why didn't the Democrats raise taxes on the rich when Obama was president and they had a majority in Congress?

 

On a number of occasions I have said that that is just exactly what they should have done. Obama's approval rating was 65%. Polls indicated that what most Americans wanted was higher taxes on the rich. That is what we still want.

Just because I voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012 does not mean that I am pleased with him. If he had been a better leader Trump would not be president.

Another thing I do not like about Obama is that whenever there was a racial incident, which is to say, whenever a black criminal was killed, by a white man, usually a policeman, Obama took the side of the black criminal. When this resulted in a black ghetto riot, if it often did, Obama made excuses for the rioters.

People do not riot when they lack hope. They riot when they feel powerful. There were black ghetto riots under Johnson and Obama. They stopped after Nixon and Trump were inaugurated.

 

You have never documented anything. Military spending and military employment is government spending and government employment. Government spending and government employment, paid for by high taxes on the rich got us out of the Great Depression. During Roosevelt's first term there was much more economic growth than under the administrations of Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge. There was nearly as much job creation.

 

You have never posted anything intelligent or true. Your posts are based on emotion, fear and things you just can't comprehend.

You have proven time and time again you are completely clueless when it comes to economics....

 

Hey, I didn't ask you what they "should have done". I didn't ask you about black ghetto riots. I ask you why the Democrats are always claiming the rich don't pay their fair share while doing nothing about it when they had several chances to make good on what they claim. I asked you why it wasn't done...

You seem to have no problem with explaining the Republican agenda, but you are always clueless when I asked you to do the same with the party you obviously blindly support for reasons you can't explain.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., on Wednesday struggled to explain his opposition to the Republican tax overhaul, conceding in a local radio interview that it contains “some good things” that could benefit his state.

“There’s some good in this bill. I acknowledge that,” Manchin said, when West Virginia radio talk show host Hoppy Kercheval asked the senator why he opposed legislation that will benefit the “vast majority” of taxpayers and businesses in the state.

“The things that you mention are correct. Initially people will benefit and see some changes in their taxes,” Manchin admitted.
